Healing and hope for every age and diagnosis.

Allwell Behavioral Health Services is a private, not-for-profit provider of comprehensive community mental health services in Coshocton, Guernsey, Morgan, Muskingum, Noble and Perry counties.

Allwell was created in 2016 as a merger of Six County Inc. and Thompkins Treatment Inc. While Six County offered services to all ages, Thompkins Treatment specialized in youth aged 2 to 18. After conducting an analysis of our services, we determined that we could better serve our communities as a single entity.

The merger will improve access to our services, enhance our quality of care, and reduce costs. Together, we integrate mental and physical care to offer the hope of well being for you and every member of your family.

Since the 1950’s, our services have expanded to meet the changing needs of our diverse communities. Because every client comes to us with unique values and problems, we mold our services to their needs to help them reach their full potential.

Here at Cedar Ridge Behavioral Health Solutions (CRBHS), we are committed to enriching the lives of individuals and families throughout Central and Southeastern Ohio. Our highly-qualified and caring therapists are dedicated to providing each individual we serve with the best possible opportunity to reach his or her full potential.

Unlike many other outpatient behavioral health providers who commonly rely upon traditional office-based therapy, CRBHS also delivers services within the community to best meet the unique needs of our clients. Acknowledging the environmental influences on emotional and behavioral development, CRBHS therapists offer services in the comfort of your own home, or the convenience of your child’s school while ensuring that privacy and confidentiality are maintained

Individuals who suffer from substance abuse, emotional, or behavioral problems have needs that are specific and unique in nature. The professionals at CRBHS work with each family to develop a customized treatment program catered to meet these needs by providing: Mental Health Assessments; AoD (Alcohol or other Drug) Assessments; Independent Living Skills Assessments; Comprehensive Treatment Planning; Individual, Group, and Family Therapy; Crisis Support; Parenting Support; and Case Management / Coordination.

Problems that many of our clients face on a day-to-day basis that require our attention include: Low Self-Esteem, Depression, Attention Difficulties, Hyperactivity, Classroom Defiance, Skipping School, School Work Deterioration, Suspension or Expulsion, Victims or Perpetrators of Bullying, Victims or Witnesses of Trauma, Survivors of the Loss of a Parent, Children/Teens of Divorced Parents, Self-Harming, Easily Irritated, Running Away, and Substance Abuse to name a few. Learn about our Services

  • Diagnostic Assessment - serving children, adolescents and adults who require a diagnostic evaluation, either in fulfillment of the pre-admission requirement to any individual service or as an independent service.
  • Individual, Group, and Family Psychotherapy - As a structured service, behavioral health and counseling services probe deeply into feelings, needs, and causes. With sessions scheduled over a period of time, the therapist is able to introduce subjects of deep concern to the client and to work systematically toward long-term change. The counseling process concerns itself with the gradual development of self-awareness and judgment; adoption of positive attitudes and values; management of anxiety, anger, and frustration; acquisition of problem-solving and human relation skills, safety plan development and implementation; and other lasting character change.
  • Individual, Group Community Psychiatric Support Services - designed to provide services to clients and families who require more intense utilization of community resources. CPSTP providers are referred to as Qualified Mental Health Specialists (QMHS) and provide coordination of services, advocacy, skill building, monitoring, and education to improve functioning.
  • Pharmacological Management - Our Psychiatric team provides Pharmacological Management services. Complete Psychiatric Evaluations are done to determine if the client has any biological abnormalities causing symptoms of a mental health disorder, which may require psychiatric intervention. Once the need is determined, the psychiatric team may then provide medication management by prescribing and supervising psychiatric medication to clients on a face-to-face contact basis.
