Guernsey Eagles win rematch with Muskingum Tigers 73-51

The Guernsey Eagles played to a win in a spirited rematch with the Muskingum Tigers.  Before a capacity crowd at Golden Rule School, the Eagles gained an early lead with the Tigers closing to within 8 points at the half.  In the second half, the Eagles pulled away with exciting steals and break aways that kept the crowd on edge.  Point leaders were Robert Covington with 31 points and Matt Slay with 17.  Charlie Hall added 12 points with several break-away steals.  Adding to the Eagles tally was Adam Finch with 4 points, David Bloom 4 points, Tim Campbell 3 points, and Josh Green with 2 points.

     The Eagles next game is Thursday January 28 at 6 pm at Golden Rule School against Coshocton County.  Come early as seating is always at a premium.
