 Working Wednesday

Our August Working Wednesday is R.C.

He participated in the Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) Summer Work Experience program. This is a five week program throughout the summer where an individual works at a location with a job coach to develop the skills necessary for employment. He selected to work with Cedar Ridge Behavioral Health Solutions as his employment provider and began his journey. At his work-site Danny had several tasks and responsibilities, such as restocking shelves and sorting inventory. "Danny is such a hard worker and aims to please in everything he does," state Megan Durant, job coach with Cedar Ridge. Danny graduated from Mid-East Career Center- Buffalo Campus BEST program where he received a solid foundation for community employment. Megan goes onto say, "Danny's positive and never quit attitude is contagious. He makes a great addition to the any team he is on."

Congratulations Danny!
